When you go through traumatic experiences in your life, you need somebody who can help and build you up. As Jatin went through some experiences in his life, he had nobody to guide him and it made him feel quite hopeless. But he also realized he needed to build himself up, and today he is a very positive person and likes to channelise this positivity in helping people who are in difficult situations. During his teaching years, he use to suddenly start having motivational discussions with the class, children started enjoying that, they started getting the sense that this was more than a music class. Later on several schools where he taught asked him to be a guidance counsellor for the students. He enjoyed doing that.
“My experiences have taught me a lot and I feel, if I can motivate and inspire even one person my job is done”!
Jatin had to also step up from his role of manager to a guide and counsellor especially during the International events he use to organize. Travelling with a team of 35-40 artists from across the country the right level of rapport and bonding is required, so that these events go smoothly, as it was a matter of pride for all participating because it involved the representation of the nation on an international platform.
The current pandemic time has not been easy for anyone, especially our frontline workers, Mr. Sadhu was given a project to conduct a motivational discussion with a team of nurses from a leading nursing college in Sanand. It was supposed to be for an hour but the interactions lasted much longer and could have gone on, had the organizers not ended it! His sessions are never a one-way street, each talk of his, has been a learning experience for him as well.
Jatin says “Everything we do needs to be a mutual learning experience, only then it can be slated as a rich experience”.
His online show Gupshup was also a platform for motivation. Where celebrities would come and share their life stories, which have in turn inspired many viewers.
